Surf workshop for girls

As part of stimulation of the tourism sector in Santa Teresa and the whole Nicoya Peninsula, the Mal Pais and Santa Teresa Surf Association is offering a surf workshop. It will be for girls between 4 and 18 years old.

It will take place in Playa El Carmen, between Mal Pais and Santa Teresa, this Sunday, December 19, 2021, starting at 9:00 AM. Additionally, the event will be completely free. The workshop includes a refreshment for the girls. The idea is to promote the surf culture in kids, as a healthy sport activity. As well as the possibility of having a professional surfing career in the future.

The best surf instructors in the area will be participating. People with years of experience, and experts in safety on the water.

The Surf Federation of Costa Rica(Federación de Surf de Costa Rica), the maximum authority is surf events in Costa Rica, endorses the event. Also, Icoder another high authority is sports activities in the country is endorsing the event too.
