Last month we had a free surf workshop here in Santa Teresa oriented towards girls from 4 years to 18 years old. Girls from all social classes, sizes, and ages met with the most experienced instructors of the area to have fun and learn the basics of surf. The event was arranged by the Asociacion de Surf Santa Teresa y Mal Pais and it was a total success. More than 15 girls assisted in the workshop, most of them being first-timers.

The Workshop Activities

A beautiful morning full of laughter, happy faces since for many of these girls it was their first contact with the sea and with the wonderful world of surfing. A talk on safety rules and knowledge of the sea given by the lifeguard, games and warming up before entering the water, an incredible snack from our sponsors, many gifts, and even a piñata. This was our morning at the free surf workshop and we feel so proud and grateful for being part of the event and having the opportunity to share our love for the sea and surf with the girls, students, and hopefully future surfers.
