2024 Surf National Circuit at Santa Teresa

The third date of the Surf National Circuit LAFISE 2024 happened in Santa Teresa on the 25th and 26th of June. The Billabong Pro competition set a record as up to 140 participants from 8 countries attended the event.

 

 

Local Men in the podium at SNC

The locals celebrated Moments of extreme joy when the surfer Sebas Schneider won the Open category. Also he won the Billabong Pro 1500 points given to the first place.
Schneider was waited at the beach by a crowd who took him on the shoulders and carried him to the podium.
Another local, Dencell Reyes won the SUB 16 division earning the respect of contenders and gaining more admiration from those who already know him.

 

Caribbean Women wins big

Meanwhile, Erika Berra, and Mikela Castro, in the Open and sub 12 categories, won in each category respectively.
It is the second time that Berra won an FedeSurfCR open category event, the first one being back in March. Berra also won the sub 18 division
Other winners were Teo Gale in sub 18, Lucia Cristi in Sub 16, Koa Brayant in sub 12, Jose Ruiz in SUP surf, and Victor St. Clair in the SUP surf category.
The next date for the Surf National Circuit is on June 15th and 16th in Playa Hermosa, Jaco. the RVCA Pro.

 

Santa Teresa as surf event destiny

Santa Teresa has become one of the usual destinations for this circuit. The inhabitants are always doing their best to offer the visitor this “like home” feeling.
This speaks well of the organization of Santa Teresa businesses and associations as they have demonstrated they are reliable for these events.

The Junta de Proteccion Social presented the Banco Lafise Surf National Circuit with the sponsorship of Quicksilver, Roxy, Selina, RVCA, Banzaii, Billabong, SunBurn, New Wave, Electrolit, ICODER, and Reef.
